The Masks We Wear

Don't be fooled for the masks that i wear
For I wear a thousand masks.
Masks that I am afraid to remove
For you might see the real me.

You might see that inside,
I am a trembling child
I built a facade to protect me, my emotions,
My thoughts from all.

I concealed what I feel for I don't want to be judged
Years of putting on a mask has made me forget
What I truly am.

I have built a wall that is hard to break down
If you decide to break it
Please do it gently for a child inside is scared,
Trembling, weak.

Don't be fooled for the masks that I wear
For I am weak and I need understanding.
I dont need to be judged.

For an innocent smile and innocent stare
Might be a facade of the hurt and bruised
Heart.

hot cocoa on a rainy day

clutching my pillow while laying in bed
holding a hot cocoa thinking of you
watching the rain fall and hearing it melodiously
tapping on the roof

what i desire most now is to lay down beside you
while the rain gushes the earth
and enriches it

you enrich my soul..
my heart...
my entirety....

and then i know
in my heart that

the best kind of love is when i wake up
every single morning
wanting, waiting, needing to be with you...

the masks we wear

Dont be fooled by the mask i wear, for i wear a thousand masks! Masks that i am afraid to remove for you might see the real me - the real me who is a child with shaking knees and breaking heart.

I have built these walls, to protect me from hurt but not just any hurt nor any pain - i built this to protect myself from people.  people who might never understand.

the shadows of me has been haunting - cold and terrible. i know that in time i must let my guard down. i must let people get near me. but please be careful in breaking down the walls i built for inside is a child. a child that wants to be accepted and be loved.

unfinished (100624)

The busy night street buzzes through my ear, endlessly echoing the tired and aching feet of a million people or maybe two or maybe three or maybe dozens of millions of people who have walked this crazy path through out the day.

While the endless blowing of horns, the humid air and the endless flashing of headlights and traffic lights, recalling the memories of the day. Early morning the alarm clock buzzes water gushes through the faucet and shower, traffic jams, smoke belches and the chaotic morning rituals - realizing that every single day contributes to the path that lies ahead.

Every day, everyone checks their facebook, twitter, skype, blogs, tumblr and all other technological savvy which makes the social networking life more uninhibited thus making one more popular and gaining a few more friends than usual.

But the fact that life is not just by making you more popular you can't discount the fact that even though you have lots of friends, you are not excused into making enemies, having tons of mischief which are mostly left unaccounted for.

A few bumps on the road are what people make but everyone learns his lessons but some of which takes longer to learn.  Whenever something bad or such a repeated nuisance occurs, it teaches you a lesson you refuse to learn.  Responsibility comes mostly with age and experience.

With all the mistakes and errors one commits and lessons learned at the end of the day what matters most is your RELATIONSHIP with people and how you deal with them and showing them the outmost care.

Then again, who am I to tell you what is important?  Therefore, i go back to look at the lights in the sky, carefully looking for the Orion and the Dipper and maybe wishing for a falling star or a comet to pass by. But of course the waiting was in vain and in the end, I just decided to write about how "The busy night street buzzes through my ear, endlessly echoing the tired and aching feet of a million people or maybe two or maybe three or maybe dozens of millions of people who have walked this crazy path through out the day." . . . . . . . .
